Here we go for the beginning of our 2011 competition year. We're looking forward to digging our bbq pit out of our snowy surroundings and heading south to Lake Havasu City, AZ to compete with some of the best in the west. |

After competing at Lake Havasu City, AZ, we headed over to Palm Springs, CA for the Johnny Trigg Master Class, held at the Big Poppa Smokers facility in Coachella, CA. The class was absolutely the greatest. Johnny showed us everything he does during a competition (techniques and flavors, etc.) and he held nothing back. Trish kept Johnny on track and made sure he left nothing out. He told story after story of his experiences and had us all laughing throughout the day. In the competition BBQ world, Johnny is known as the "GODFATHER" of BBQ. |
